The Grove Foundation enriches the lives of community members by identifying, supporting, and promoting recreational, educational, and community experiences through innovative and collaborative efforts. The Grove Foundation is a 501(c)(3) Illinois not-for-profit foundation; Contributions are tax deductible.

The Grove Foundation has:

Served the Downers Grove Community for over 30 years

Raised and distributed over $300,000 to the community

Multi-dimensional community support

Supported SEASPAR & Downers Grove Park District special needs programs

An Annual Grant Program benefitting a variety of local organizations

Received the 2012 Chamber Choice Award for Philanthropy

‘‘ Your program honoring special students in 5th grade is wonderful! Kylene tries very hard in school and yet never will probably get an academic award. The pride she felt when she won - is something I'll never forget. Her self-esteem got a much needed boost.

‘‘ My name is Jeremy and I am a fifth grade student at Indian Trail. You recently came to my school to give me an award. I am writing you to thank you for honoring me. I can't believe my mom and dad were there too and that they didn't tell me. I felt very special to be picked from all my classmates.
