There are a variety of ways to contribute to The Grove Foundation. Participate one of our fundraising events. Be a sponsor for one of our events. You may also provide a general monetary donation separate from any particular program or fundraiser.

The Grove Foundation is able to accept monetary and land donations by private citizens and businesses for the Downers Grove Park District, local school districts, or the Village of Downers Grove.

Donation for General Purposes

This donation would be used to carry out Grove Foundation programs such as Helping Children Grow or to fund one of our many grants awarded to local organizations. A list of previous grant recipients can be found in the Grants section of this site.

Donation for Downers Grove Park District

This donation would go to the Downers Grove Park District for their general operations.

If you have special instructions for your donation to the park district, please indicate in your payment remarks and contact us.

Memorial or Honorarium Contributions

Make a contribution in memory of a deceased person, in honor of a loved one, or to recognize a special event. Your gift is deeply appreciated and will go a long way in supporting the work of the Foundation.

Please remember to indicate the name of the person or event to which you are contributing in the payment remarks.

Memorial or Honorarium Funds

Establish a Memorial/Honorarium Fund with The Grove Foundation or Downers Grove Park District as the beneficiary. We will work with you to carry out your wishes in alignment with the mission of the Grove Foundation.

Tax Deductibility

The Grove Foundation is a 501(c)(3) Illinois not-for-profit foundation with contributions to the foundation being deductible. After receiving your donation, the Foundation will send you a letter than can be used for the preparation of your taxes.
